Our Lady of the Rosary
Though we celebrated the External Solemnity of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary this past Sunday, the ordo lists October 7th as Our Lady of the Rosary, 2nd class. An external solemnity means that a certain number of Masses (usually 1, and not more than 2) will be celebrated using the Propers of the feast instead of the liturgical day.
If you would like a great measure of confusion you might try to figure out just exactly why this transfer happened (way back in 1911 or so)...good luck. At any rate here is a great article on the Holy Rosary from the blog, The Catholic Gentleman, which is one of my favorite sites.
